This week on the deck
Times are fixed. Spots are not. The calendar is the only thing that knows whether Saturday is already full.
How it works here
Come when you like. Nobody here goes unnoticed.
Any class, any week
There is no fixed group to join. Pick the mornings that suit you. A pack works for every class in the week.
Eight mats
The deck takes eight people, so the teacher learns your name in the first class and what your body needs by the second.
Hands-on, only if you want
Adjustments are by hand, and never the same way twice. At the start of class, with everyone's eyes closed, a small sign says you'd rather not. Nobody sees.
Power Vinyasa
Breath tied to a moving sequence. Core, endurance, and the kind of focus that survives the rest of the day. Enough to make you sweat, slow enough to stay a practice.
Good the morning after a surf. Good the morning you slept badly. The teacher will tell you where to go easy and where to push.
Yoga Sculpt
A yoga class with the heat turned up. Flowing sequences, music, light hand weights and plenty of sweat, all carried by the breath. The format comes from CorePower Yoga in the United States, where Mayra, who founded the studio, trained.
Yoga for people who love to sweat, and sweat for people who love yoga. It is the only public Yoga Sculpt class in Itacaré. The weights are already on the deck.

Surfing this week
Power Vinyasa after a morning session, for hips, shoulders and breath. Yoga Sculpt on the flat days.
When it rains
Surf season is also the rainy season. When the beach is off, the deck is on: part of it is covered. In heavy rain, any change goes out on WhatsApp and Instagram.

You walk up
Uphill from Praia da Concha, past the clay tiles, onto the wood. Leave your shoes at the step. The sea is still louder than anyone here.

Breath tied to a sequence, or weights in your hands, depending on the day. The teacher speaks whichever language the mats on the deck need.

The last few minutes are the reason for the rest of it. On Saturday, the beach is right there afterwards.

What to bring
Water, a towel, and something you can move in. Mats and blocks are at the deck.

Reserve a spot on the calendar, then pay at the deck. Nothing is charged online.
